The Capitol City hamfest is one of those events that's officially one name, and called a different name to everyone outside the host club. Everyone else in the state calls this the "Jackson Hamfest".
This is the largest hamfest in Mississippi, and it's held in the relatively new Trade Mart, which makes a perfect setting for a hamfest. The opening is Friday evening, and it goes Saturday 8-3. Several forums and seminars happen during the hamfest, as well as some VE sessions for license exams.
The Jackson Hamfest in 2025 was really busy, with lots of vendors and lot of foot traffic from participants. I don't have a headcount for the event, but based purely on observation, I'd say it was the best attanded Jackson Hamfest in several years.
