February 28 and March 1, 2025 were the dates for the Birmingham Hamfest (aka Birminghamfest), hosted at the Trussville Civic Center outisde Birmingham. Setup began around lunch on Friday, and the doors were open Friday evening and all day Saturday.
As usual, there was a good mix of vendors and a good crowd on Saturday. Friday evening is always a light crowd, but Saturday morning, the floor is rockin'.
Maybe my favorite table at this hamfest is the table from the ham radio museum and the radio collectors in the area. Lots of tube radios in various stages of restoration, and some really nice folks to visit with.
