This is probably the most laid-back hamfest we go to each year. It's in Cullman, Alabama, at the county fairgrounds. It's held in July, in an un-air conditioned cement block ag building. Okay, I know, that sounds like a hot, hot place to be in July, but it's really not. Oh, it's warm, but it's not hot. The host club wrangles up swamp fans (water-cooled, tall, floor fans) and places them at strategic points in the building, and it stays very comfortable. Yes, it's warm, but still comfortable.
It's about a three hour drive from Starkville, near Huntsville. We arrived Friday afternoon, unloaded, and got set up for Saturday. The host club had tables ready, and we got the job done in no time flat.
Saturday morning was clear and sunny, and we arrived in time to uncover tables and put the finishing touches on our wares. There was a good crowd, lots of friendly folks, and by noon it was all over. WT0K did a great job of making sure our registration and visit went flawlessly.

KJ5HOC being very business-like. Actually, I think she's talking to the dog.

Petem, AC4LA, says hey.

Just happy to be here. Nothing better than smiling folks at a hamfest.

KI4RG, Ron, is always smiling and cheerful. Great guy!

Did I mention folks here are friendly and glad to be here? Here's more proof.
