Western Electric JW 6AK5 Matched Pair Tubes, Black Plates, Hickok Tested

This is a matched pair of Western Electric JW 6AK5 vacuum tubes with black plates.  

By "matched" I mean that the mutual conductance (Gm) of each tube is within 10% of the mutual conductance of the other tube in the pair.  The mutual conductance of each tube was tested on a Hickok tester.  A line test (for meter accuracy) was performed at least every 10 tubes.

Each tube is in a white box, and the Gm is clearly marked on each box.  No guesswork here. 

The pair in the photos are an example of one matched pair.  Different pairs will have different degrees of print.  Some have more print, some have less.  That's the nature of used tubes, they vary in appearance.  Some will have extra markings, such as production numbers, or paint markings.  The variance in appearance in no way impacts tube performance.
