This barrel adapter is made from a solid brass body that is machined and plated with Nickel for superior performance and value. This UHF female to UHF female barrel adapter has a Delrin dielectric and a gold plated brass center pin. Both sides provide a UHF female side (also known as a SO-239 connection) is by far the most popular connection type used in Amateur Radio. This UHF female to UHF female barrel adapter is perfect for joining two sections of coaxial cable that terminate in UHF male connectors.

This connector is NOT made in the PRC (i.e., mainland China or it's territories). These are made in countries such as Germany, Italy, Mexico, and Taiwan.<

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This barrel adapter (SO-239 to SO-239) has three varieties, which are good, better, and best.  These differ in the materials used for the body plating and the center pin.  All have Delrin dielectric insulators and solid brass bodies.  The three varieties vary as shown here:

  • GOOD: Nickel plated body, nickel plated center pin, SKU: 7517
  • BETTER: Nickel plated body, gold plated center pin, SKU: 7517-16V
  • BEST:  Silver plated body, gold plated center pin, SKU: 7517-16V-TGS
