MFJ Loop Controller For MFJ-1782 Loop Antenna, Factory Display Model

This is a factory demo item, used for part of the MFJ hamfest display booth.  As such, it is an item that has never been sold, but beccuase it was used as display, eBay requires it to be classed as a used item. 

This is untested.  It is powered be either two 9V batteries, or an external power supply (wall wart).   The MFJ-1782 manual (available online) specifies the following in regard to the power source for the controller:

"You must only use the MFJ-1312B supply or batteries to operate this unit. If you chose to use anotherpower supply to power this unit, the power supply must not have a common ground with anything else in your radio system.
CAUTION! THE POWER SUPPLY OF THIS UNIT MUST NOT BE GROUNDED! IF EITHER THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE LEADS ARE GROUNDED THE CONTROL UNIT WILL BE DAMAGED! USE ONLY THE MFJ-1312B SUPPLY."

Due to these cautions about the power source, this is being sold as is, no warranty, and no return. 

Since this was part of the MFJ hamfest display, there is an extra hole in both sides of the plastic housing, which can be seen in the photos.  These do no impact the operation of the controller, but if you'd like, these can be sealed with epoxy, silicome, tape, etc.

This would have been included as part of the complete package for the MFJ-1752 or MFJ-1782X loop antennas.
