MFJ-864 1.8M-60 MHz, SWR/Wattmeter
This is a factory display unit from the MFJ hamfest booth.
Cosmetic issues I see are slight, but here they are: Light paint missing on some case edges, see photos for the best description. There are two tiny scuffs on the top of the meter lens, they aren't very noticable, and are not visible in the photos, but I want to mention they are there. They look like slight smudges, but I think they are actually scuffs. Not pictured, but the DC pigtail for the meter lamp IS included.

This new MFJ Cross Needle SWR/Wattmeter covers HF thru VHF 1.8 - 60MHz
MFJ-864 Cross-Needle Meter reads forward and reflected power and SWR simultaneously at a single glance. It features separate HF and VHF/UHF directional couplers, each with its own SO-239 connectors. This lets you connect your HF and VHF/UHF transceivers at the same time. You can then monitor SWR and power of either transceiver at the flick of switch. Others have a single set of connectors - you have to plug and unplug to use separate HF or VHF rigs.
Power ranges: 30/300 Watts forward and 6/60 watts reflected Each power range for each band is individually calibrated. Schottky diodes are used for best accuracy.
Single knob operation makes it easy to use and the meter is lighted for easy reading. Meter lamp uses 12 VDC or 110 VAC with optional adapter,
GENERAL NOTE ABOUT FACTORY DEMO/DISPLAY UNITS:
NEW (OPEN BOX): This is a new unit, in that it has never been sold or placed into service. This is a fully-functional unit that was used as a static display either in MFJ's offices or as part of MFJ's hamfest display booth. As such, it may have cosmetic scuffs or scrapes on the cabinet, it may have some extra, tiny holes (usually two at the most) in the cabinet from security brackets on the hamfest displays. Hamfest displays often had a "show sticker" applied to the cabinet. If so, those have been removed, and there may be some adhesive residue left where the sticker once was. Goo-Gone and rubbing with a thumbnail will usually remove all or most of the residue. The residue is a cosmetic thing only. Some case screws may be missing, or may be mismatched.
The photos here are of the actual item being sold, not "stock" photos. Please look closely at the photos, as those are the best guide to the cosmetic condition of the cabinet or case. If you'd like, you can always repaint the cabinet with readily available matte-finish black paint.
As a demo/display unit, there is no factory warranty, but there is a 30 day warranty from FatCat.Parts on items sold as New (Open Box). Warranty does not cover cosmetics, it covers only the functionality of the item. No factory packaging or paperwork is included.
On all demo/display units, what is being sold is what is seen in the photos. If it is not in the photos, it is not included, unless the listing specifies it is included.
