Kenwood TM-241A 2M Mobile Radio, For Parts Or Repair

Pretty clean radio for its age, this Kenwood has issues with the display and the front controls.   Some days I can power it up, and it transmits/receives just fine, with good audio.  Other days, the display goes squirrelly (see photos), locks up, displays gibberish, goes blank, etc.  Sometimes the front panel controls don't work as designed.

I suspect the ribbon cable need to be either re-seated, or have the contacts cleaned, or some such thing as that.  That's just an educated guess, and not a guarantee, of course.  Since it has a known issue, it is being sold as is, for parts or repair, no warranty, no return, etc. 

No microphone is included, no power cable other than the one made into the radio.
