Kenwood MC-60 Desk Microphone, New Battery Holder

This is a nice looking MC-60. The end of the battery holder had blown out, so I put in a new battery holder. I don't have a Kenwood transceiver to test this with, so I metered the pins. The 500 ohm setting metered just over 498 ohms, so that setting looks good. The 50K setting metered around 1.2K ohms, so I'm calling this one to be in need of repair.
