This radio, as far as I can tell, works as it should. The digital frequency display plays havoc with the camera, so it looks incomplete in the photos, and appears to scroll in the video, but it does not. The display is normal, and very clear.
I spent the better part of one day with this radio. From what I could tell, all modes work, there is no frequency drift, meter light works, meter works, mic keys up as normal.
It transmits fine (see power output in the video).
I also found the RIT light stays on, and the RIT toggle switch doesn't latch in the on/off position as it should. The toggle is spongy, and pops back up when flipped down. This doesn't interfere with the actual use of the radio.
Cosmetics are pretty good for it's age. It has some finish chips, etc, but no signs of mistreatment. Both plastic pop-up pins are in the top access panel (those are often missing, but not this time).
Due to the RIT switch issue, this is being sold as is, for parts or repair only.
Ships safely and quickly from Mississippi.
