Heathkit HWA-5400-1 Power Supply, Works, See Video and Description
This is a fairly clean (for its age) HWA-5400-1 Heathkit power supply that has had it's four wire DC output cable cut off by the previous owner. I have no idea why this was done, unless it was to use this power supply with something other than the Heathkit radio it was designed for.
The power supply can be turned on (its usually turned on by turning on the radio) by jumping pin 1 and pin 2 in the white 6-pin plug, top left corner on the back.
Both black/red pairs of output cables meter at over 13 VDC. If you need an HWA-5400 power supply, and you have the output cable, this will be a bargain for you. If you just want a good 12VDC power supply for some other use, the same thing applies. It's a bargain price.
Please take a moment to watch the video, that will give you the best view of the output cables.
Due to the missing output cable, this is being sold as is, for parts or repair. No return, no warranty.
Shipping weight will be around 30-35 pounds, this is a hefty unit.
Ships safely packaged from Mississippi.
