Here is a good working Drake UV-3 transceiver built in 1980.  Serial number is 10926.

As with most VHF/UHF radios of that era, it does not come with the ability to send PL tones.

Three SO-239 plugs are on the back, one each for 140 MHz, 220 MHz, and 440 MHz.

Correct original microphone is included.

On the digital frequency, the first two digits of the frequency are always assumed.  For example, 146.805 MHz will display as 6.805.  In this example, the 6.80 portion have a knob to adjust each of those digits.  The last  digit, 5, is turned on or off by a flip switch on the face of the radio. (All these frequencies end in either 0 or 5, so the toggle switch is an easy control for that digit.)

High power on 2M is 25 watts, low power is 2.5 watts.  However, Drake made the low power output user-selectable by changing one resistor inside, so the low power can be as high as ten watts.

Cosmetically this is clean, but the paint has faded on the top.  See the photos for the best description.

This measure 15" long, 8" wide, and 4" tall.

Actual weight is 11 pounds, 4 ounces.  Shipping weight will be 15 pounds.

Power is from a 12 VDC source, so this can be used as a mobile radio or, with a 12 VDC power supply, as a base station.
