This 40 channel CB has extra mounting holes added to the top cover, and glue from velcro strips on the bottom cover.  The digital readout works fine, and the meter lights up really nice, but the meter's needle does not register S units or power out.

Transmitting throgh a Dosy meter shows at least legal output power.

Microphone is a Truck-Spec NC4CU mic. 

The video shows reception of some really distant CB signals.  The c.lose signals I heard when I first plugged it up were clear.

Production date January 1989.  Serial number is 95000403.

Controls are smooth and quiet. All knobs match.

A new Workman DC power cable is included.

Since I know this has a non-responsive S meter, it is being sold as is, for parts or repair.
